central spot for quick access to sights and great dining

Staying here was fantastic since I was just a few steps away from charming cafes and the fine Piazza dell' Anfiteatro. The room was spacious and clean.

Exceptionally comfortable place right in the heart of Lucca. Very good breakfast with cakes and proper cappuccino, and with a unique atmosphere. The hotel of choice in Lucca...

The breakfast, served at the charming restaurant next door, was an absolute delight with an excellent variety and quality.

Coordinating bag storage after checkout was tricky. The office hours limited my ability to safely store my luggage.

I struggled with long waits for assistance, as the front desk was often empty. The lack of warm water was frustrating, especially when it was cold outside. I couldn't reach anyone for help when issues arose.

This hotel could've been lovely, but the staff was not the least bit cute, and good luck if you need the toilet before check-in, as I was denied access! A kettle in the room would've been nice, but instead, I had to venture out in my pajamas for coffee. Almost considered a positive review, but just couldn't.

Positive, I had a spacious, airy room that was bigger than most places I've stayed. The additional coffee/tea area was a nice touch. The location is super central. Breakfast at the owner's restaurant was delicious too ☕

We stayed in a spacious suite which was perfect for our family. The kids loved the little balcony where we enjoyed breakfast, and the location was super convenient for exploring the historic sites. Plus, the comfortable beds made it easy to relax after a busy day!

My wife says that the lack of a kettle in the room was inconvenient for us, especially with kids needing snacks and drinks.

The location was perfect, right in the bustling heart. Good breakfast options with homemade treats. Staff excelled in offering warm hospitality.

I stayed in a double room for 2 nights and it was really nice and clean with a classic Italian vibe. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was great, but it was a bit small. The room had some street noise since it was right in the shopping area, which might be bothersome for light sleepers. The shared entry area could get noisy too, especially in the mornings.
